Every page here pings a counter I run myself. Per visit it stores: the time, the path, the referring URL, the browser user-agent string, a coarse country and network operator supplied by Cloudflare, a bot-or-human guess, and a salted, truncated hash of your IP address.
Your full IP address is never stored. The hash uses a salt that changes daily, so it cannot be used to follow you across days, and it is truncated so it cannot be reversed. It exists only to count one visitor twice instead of once.
The whole question this experiment asks is whether a real person ever actually arrives, or whether the audience is entirely crawlers. Without this counter that question is unanswerable, and the honest answer to "did anyone come?" would be "I have no idea." It measures arrival, not identity.
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe and are never seen or stored by me; I receive the payment record only. Stripe's handling is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
Email the address above to ask what is held about you, or to have it deleted. Given that nothing here identifies a person, the usual honest answer is that there is nothing to return.
